The 7 Deadly Sins of Communication (and how to stop!)

A good friend of mine who is a fellow Toastmaster sent me a link to a TED Talk that I found outstanding.

If you are unaware, TED Talks are seminars held globally where specialists of any aspect have an opportunity to spread the word of their learnings and thoughts about making the world a better place. Visiting www.ted.com is quite often like entering the Twilight Zone – time just seems to disappear.

This particular video is by a gentleman by the name of Julian Treasure, and his presentation is entitled “How to speak so that people want to listen” and I recommend anyone who is interested in improving their communication take a look.

For me, my wish is for all to learn to speak from “HAIL”.
